Easy, boys… Western media and many politicians are masturbating, drooling and getting orgasm, while announcing that the “Wagner Mutiny” shows Russia’s weakness and the beginning of end of Vladimir Putin. I am not sure about that. Wagner Group is a “private” organization of military mercenaries, just like Al-Qaeda, ISIS, and other similar networks used by states to perform tasks that are illegal under international or domestic laws. Progozhin is Putin’s personal friend. The chain of events that has led to this “mutiny” suggests other possibilities.
It needs to be said that Russia’s military intervention in Ukraine was provoked by the West and NATO.

On October 5, 2022, the Guardian reported,
In response, Russia has announced plans to deploy its nuclear weapons in the territory of Belarus.
On March 26, 2023, Anews reported,
- Poland: Nuclear arms in Belarus are further threat to European peace
– (as if the deployment of US nuclear arms in Poland would not be a threat to peace).
As of 4 April 2023, Finland became the 31st member of NATO and the NATO PA (Parliamentary Assembly). The process of Finland’s and Sweden’s accession to NATO began after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, in February of 2022.
The leader of Belarus, Alexandr Lukashenko, flirted with the European Union in the past but, due to Russian pressure, could not achieve more independent status for his country. In February and March of 2022, Bialorus allowed Russian military units to enter Ukraine from its territory but refused to take an active part in the invasion. On May 9, 2023, Lukashenko fell ill during the Victory Parade in Moscow and returned to his country a visibly changed man. On May 20, Russians reported a destruction of unspecified Western nuclear material in the territory of Ukraine.
On May 24, 2023, the pro-Russian portal South Front published an article,
which could be seen as a signal that Poland will not allow the deployment of Russian nukes at its border.
With this background, the “Wagner Mutiny” occured – (a Russian narrative as of June 26):

It is worth noting that, according to Russian media, Alexandr Lukashenko negotiated with Progozhin the agreement to end the rebellion. As part of this agreement, Progozhin and a large part of his mercenaries will move to Belarus and stay there.
It is also worth noting that Progozhin clearly stated,
“The goal of the campaign is to prevent the destruction of PMC “Wagner” and to bring those who made so many mistakes in the course of the Special Military Operation to justice.”
“We did not have the goal of overthrowing the existing regime and the legitimately elected government, as has been said many times,”
There are two possible ways to interpret this “mutiny” and its outcomes:
One, responding to increasing presence of American military bases in Poland and to Finland’s accession to NATO, Russia wants to secure its nuclear weapons in Belarus and wants to make sure that Lukashenko remains loyal to Moscow. Sending Russian military to Belarus could be seen as provocation against NATO. Sending Progozhin, (a “hero of the rebellion against Putin”), to Belarus cannot be criticized by NATO, especially after the West’s enthusiastic support for “Wagner’s Mutiny”. Meanwhile, a presence of Wagner fighters in Belarus increases military power of this country against possible Polish intervention.
Two, the US and NATO countries managed to bribe Progozhin and Wagner’s mercenaries in order for them to switch sides and leave the war theatre in Ukraine. Their presence in Belarus, supported and negotiated by Lukashenko, may prevent Russians from deploying their nuclear weapons in this country and could be used to support possible Polish military intervention. This would make NATO, especially Finland and Poland, very happy.
Personally, I believe that the first option is more likely. I know Russian mentality and their ways. If the second option were true, Lukashenko would not be allowed to negotiate on behalf of Russia. Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov would not have confirmed the terms of the agreement between Wagner group and Belarus. Progozhin and his mercenaries would have been killed and eliminated as soon as they took over the Rostov on Don and started moving towards Moscow. He would not have been allowed to leave Russia and move to Belarus, where his presence could encourage and protect more independent initiatives by Lukashenko and create a vital threat to the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad, especially if Belarus and Poland joined forces.
I think that we have just witnessed a false-flag operation put together by Russia and its allies.

Update – June 28, 2023:
On June 26, 2023, head of the German Defence Ministry announced in Vilnius , [ 2 ] that Germany is going to transfer a brigade of 4,000 troops to Lithuania and deploy them there on a permanent basis. This could be seen as a response to the “deployment” of Wagner mercenaries in Belarus, but there is more at stake here. Lithuania borders Belarus, Poland, and the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad. Germany is most likely trying to secure its claim and still unofficial policy aimed at recovery of its former territory of Prussia (including Eastern Prussia). This latest move signals that Germany is ready to go to war in order to protect this plan.
Update – July 3, 2023:
“Poland continues to escalate tensions against Russia and Belarus. In a recent speech, the country’s prime minister expressed a desire to join NATO’s nuclear program, which would allow Warsaw to have American weapons on its territory. The project comes amid attempts by Poland to “deter” Russia, which in practice could lead to a catastrophe.”
