Comment: They will decide? No. We will decide what we want our ELECTED representatives to do with OUR taxpayer money that WE worked for and paid. Follow the money, baby. We pay, we decide.
I just watched the First Nations Assembly Annual Meeting with speakers demanding that they be given “their” land and resources back, and then that we continue providing them with funding, services, and infrastructure. A preposerous sense of entitlement. Most of the land they sold or deeded to the British. Some of the treaties were fraudulent (eg.: the Nanfan Treaty).
Sorry guys, once you are on your own, you are on your own. No special privilages. Nobody gave the white people their infrastructure, their services, their industrial base, and their technology. They had to work and create it themselves. Welcome to the real world. So far, you are using television, cars, boats, snowmobiles, guns, electricity, and other goodies – all created by the whites. To your credit, you invented the bow and arrow. I wonder how this will serve you, now. Once you cut all the trees in “your land” and sell them as lumber, what is going to happen then? Are you going to exploit the energy resources that you were so desperately protesting against, when Canadians wanted to develop them?
I don’t see your future in bright colours. You are being used by the world elites who need to destroy nation states in order to establish one world government. When this is achieved, you will be done away with. Always the case.
