Israel’s misuse of force in the Gaza war
In last week’s post, we briefly focused on Israel’s “Dahiya doctrine” of using disproportionate military force against the entire civilian population, promising a closer look this week. The doctrine is named after the Dahiya neighborhood of Beirut, where Hezbollah was headquartered during the 2006 Lebanon War, which was “flattened” by the IDF.
