Mark Carney admits he is an ‘elitist’ and ‘globalist’ but claims that is what Canada needs

Mark Carney, (Radio-Canada Info / YouTube)

In a recent interview, Liberal Party frontrunner Mark Carney admitted that ‘people will charge me with being elitist or a globalist,’ but that such qualities happen ‘to be exactly what we need.’

My question: “We” means who exactly? The elites, the WEF, the globalists? But not “We the People”.

Comment: Liberals are trying to rescue their party, after screwing Canada and Canadians badly and, I believe, deliberately. They are goners and they should be. Carney, Freeland, Trudeau, and the rest of the WEF “penetrants”, including Jagmeet Singh, the leader of the NDP shouldn’t even think of running. This makes my choice simple: Federally, I will vote for Tories.

Provincially though, Tories have screwed us, too, and that’s why they are trying to escape our sword by running an early election (at our cost). Election that we will pay for but we will not benefit from. So, not Liberals, not Tories, and who is left in Ontario? I will probably try the NDP. This is not an endorsement, I am just sharing my preferences. We need a lot of fixing, and fast, in health care, housing, and education. We need a rapid reversal of the unprecedented price gouging and exploading cost of living. NDP are addressing these points in their provincial campaign. I am willing to give them a chance. Don’t see a better option, although they are not cristal clear, either and they will increase our collective debt. But that’s better than starving somewhere under the bridge.

To those who prioritize market and corporate needs, I want to say this: You will not improve the economy unless the money starts flowing. You cannot sell your goods and services or improve your corporate profits, unless people have more money to buy these goods and services and pay for them. So first, you need to create well paying jobs, reverse or freeze all prices (including housing, rent, electricity, food, clothing, medications, gasoline, and other necessities). Then, and only then, you should address the corporate needs but only, if they pay fair taxes, like everybody else. In a rich country people should be rich, not just the “elites” (whatever this means).

My opinion.
