Comment: One question needs to be asked. I am 75 and I have been following the Middle East conflict from the get go. From WWI and the Balfour Declaration, then the UNGA Resolution 181, then the war of 1967 and the UNSC Resolution 242, then over 100 UN Resolutions pertaining to the Israeli Occupation of the Palestinian Occupied Territories, the right of Palestinians to self-determination, right of the refugees to return, etc., then the international law as it relates to the illegal Israeli settlements (The IV Geneva Convention Art 49: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies”), then the invasion of Lebanon in August of 2006, then the original Goldstone Report following the 2008/2009 invasion of Gaza, … and the list goes on…

What I hear is that Hamas was a creation of Mossad in order to counter the PLO and Arafat. If so, then it is possible that October 7 was a false flag operation deliberately implemented in order to manufacture a pretext for ethnic cleansing of Gaza, for taking over the West Bank, and for going on with the Greater Israel Project. This would explain why the IDF did not react in a timely manner to the Hamas intrusion into Israel. Since Octover 7, genocide of the Palestinians is happening, there is plenty of evidence to support this opinion. Is Israeli public opinion aware of these aspects and these roots of the current conflict? Are Israelis aware that Gaza is sitting on large offshore deposits of energy resources, access to which was first cleared by the IDF after October 7?
