On one hand, Trump surprised the world with his announcement of taking over Gaza. This idea has some merit. It will prevent a wider Arab – Israeli conflict that is brewing in the Middle East for some time. It will give the US access to and ownership of Gaza’s offshore oil and natural gas resources. It will also keep Israel on a financial leash. US does not want independent Israel. Israel exploiting Gaza’s resources would quickly become economically independent, and this would mean political independence as well. If Americans exploit these resources and then annually pay Israel some kind of “financial aid”, the leash will be working and Israel will have to comply with US policy goals.

Comment: I just want to know who “WE” are. And, it is not about “tourism”. It’s about the Gaza’s offshore energy resources.

Comment: Just a moment, David. I live in Canada and I am 75 – retired “useless eater”. Are you telling me that Canada, with all its land, resources, and infrastructure, cannot afford paying me a pension and providing me with food, medic care, and social security? Comment: I think Trump uses the Fentanyl rhetoric as a pretext for tariffs in order to force offshored American companies to come back to the US. It has been his stated goal for a long time. This is why the Wall Street investors hate him so much. Offshoring reduced their costs and maxed up their profits. The propaganda was: “The goods made in China will be less expensive” – remember that? Very quickly, they become more expensive. Today, a winter jacket made in China is at least 4 times more expensive than a similar jacket was, when it was made in the US or Canada. And you can’t find the real cotton, wool. and other healthy stuff anymore. Just plastic. So, whose fault is this? China’s, or our investors, importers, suppliers, and retailers?
