As the winter approaches and soon we will see, again, closed trails and native hunters roaming our conservation area based on a fraudulent “treaty rights” claim, here is a reminder of the work that was done on this topic by a group of researchers who oppose the annual hunt:

I am against the hunt. It’s terrible to kill these gentle creatures. Why can’t it be STOPPED!
Our properties boarder the Weirs Lane Conservation land where the recent 2018 native hunt just finished. We are all opposed to this utterly ridiculous concession that was granted by the HCA to hunt on conservation land. I’m tired of patrolling the perimeters making sure there are no violations, which I’m sure there are. These beautiful animals belong to all of us. How can I help to get it stopped?
