ALERT: Protect Right to Cross-border Travel for Unvaccinated Canadians

After more than a year’s worth of Covid-induced mandates, lockdowns, and government overreach, Canadians are more ready than ever to resume their normal, everyday lives without any further government intrusion.

And now, with the Coronavirus crisis finally winding down, there’s word that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau — who himself has been responsible for disrupting the livelihoods of millions of Canadians — may soon ease some of the strictest restrictions regarding travel.

But there’s a catch…

Reports indicate such a decision may only apply to fully vaccinated individuals, in yet another blatant display of discrimination against those who’ve chosen — be it for personal, medical, or faith-based/religious reasons — against getting the new Covid-19 jab.

That’s why we’re asking you to contact your State Legislators immediately to request that they do everything in their power to get this important legislation to the floor of both chambers as soon as possible and vote to advance it when it comes before them.

You can reach your Member of Parliament in one easy step using the simple contact form that we’re making available on LifeSite’s Action Center.

It only takes one click of a button, and you won’t even have to look-up their contact details.

When you click on the link, you will see the form on the right-hand side of the page

It’s no secret that the Charter rights and freedoms of Canadians have been violated, again and again, since the beginning of the Covid outbreak, all under the false promise of safety and security from the virus.

And even so, more than a year later, the possibility remains that unvaccinated Canadians may be further subjected to excessive travel restrictions, even when those same restrictions may be eased for the vaccinated population.

Instead of traveling freely, unvaccinated people may be penalized for their personal decision by having to undergo a total of three Covid tests (one prior to departing, one upon arrival, and one seven days later), in addition to a mandatory quarantine period, simply for exercising their right to freely travel!

To be clear — no official decision has been formally made, but the fact remains that the preexisting “non-essential” travel restrictions (which have been in place since March of 2020) are set to expire on June 21st, and with PM Trudeau has confirmed that an announcement could come within the next several weeks.

That said, we’ve already gotten a preview of what that announcement may entail…

“It’s very clear that even though one dose has allowed us to significantly protect Canadians, to remove many of the pressures from our public health systems, it is still an incomplete protection,” Trudeau recently said. “We need people to get the full two doses of their vaccines and that’s why easing of restrictions will be focused on Canadians who are fully vaccinated.”

With this admission in mind, it remains not only possible, but plausible, that any relaxing of Canadian travel restrictions will only apply to those who are fully vaccinated, opening the door to further discrimination against unvaccinated Canadians.

That’s why we need YOU to be proactive and contact your MP today, and ask them to stand against any efforts on the part of Trudeau’s government to keep these excessive restrictions in place for unvaccinated and partially-vaccinated Canadians in the run-up to his official announcement.

Thank you,
