Comment: Yes, we are seeing similar initiatives here in Ontario. First Nations bands are bunching together to create larger political power, are preparing to take over the lands they claim were theirs, and still, are expressing demands that the federal and provincial governments deliver even more financial and institutional support than before. To me, once they get the land, they should be on their own. As a white taxpayer, I am not willing to finance their infrastructure that will not be mine or their welfare. I should not be expected to. They should pay us for our infrastructure and our technology that they use. Plus, I know the reality on our reserves and I seriously doubt that they will be able to support themselves on their own without exploiting the land and tourist activities. This whole idea of land transfer serves one purpose – to dismantle nation states and introduce one world government as part of the New Normal world order. And then, they will be brought in line with the globalist agenda, again.
I also question the so-called “land ownership” by some of the First Nations.
- They lost the wars and lost the land to the white newcomers just as they gained the land by means of war earlier, fighting among themselves;
- They sold much of their land or transfered it to the British or French authorities;
- They claimed some of the treaty rights based on hoax trieties, example the so-called Nanfan Treaty;
- They claim their rights as Aboriginal communities, while some of their nations are not aboriginal in Canada, where white settlers lived before these “aboriginal” nations arrived here (example, the Haudensaunee in Southern Ontario)
