Comment: Yeah, sure, Kim. Why don’t we just say to thieves and robbers, “Let’s live in peace, come in, take whatever you want, maybe take our houses, just leave us something and don’t kill us”. We will still be alive and slightly prosperous, right? We will still put dinner on our table, we don’t really need democracy, our freedoms, or right to self-determination, we don’t have to participate in political decisions about our lives and our future, we don’t need any protection from your greed and aggression … Just look what happens to Jewish owned and operated apartment buildings in Canada during the time people really struggle to survive. Rent increases above guidelines, total lack of consideration and empathy for the families and communities that allowed the landlords to do business and prosper for many years. This is a cultural issue and it will not change, it will only get worse, unless a higher power stops it. But the higher power is corrupted, too, bought and paid for, evidently. We cannot count on our politicians to protect us. Then, what should we do? Go figure…

This looks like a historically correct list of Jewish expulsions and pogroms. I keep wondering, “Why?” Why it always happens to Jews? There is no smoke without a fire – it this why?

The interpretation of what happened on October 7 depends on what you know and think about Hamas. If you tend to believe that Hamas was created by Mossad as a counterbalance to PLO, then you view the October 7 events as a false flag and justification for a war of retribution, a defensive war. How can the occupier invoke self-defense, if the occupation itself is an aggression is another line of thinking. The whole history of this conflict leads many to believe that it is the Palestinians who are defending themselves. Well documented, even at the United Nations. If you are old enough to remember the facts on the ground, then you know what to think.

BTW., regime change in another sovereign state, as a goal of a war, is still highly illegal according to international law. Assassinating foreign leaders and scientists is criminal. This mindset must go, it is not legit and it puts Israel in a bad company, historically.
