Comment: Yes, studies and research on perception were already advanced in 1980s. Work in this area was done at the intersection of physics, neurology, and physiology. I know that Poland had such projects and Canada, most likely, had them as well. I know where and I know the names of scientists involved. During initial stages of development, this new branch of science was used to enhance advertising and propaganda techniques, Today, it is being widely used to control societies and influence human behaviour.
