My Debate with Artificial Intelligence

I find the Grok AI search engine and chatbot, developed by Elon Musk’s X platform, most interesting and satisfying. It answers my initial questions but it also seeks additional clarifications and allows me to add additional information to a debate and session already under way. I can have a real, human like converstaion with it, although its processing speed and ability to cross-reference sources of information are unmatched by any human standards. However, it also has a real weakness but it is willing to learn from me and modify its “knowledge” accordingly. This opens an opportunity for us, humans, to influence AI and its learning process.

HERE, in PDF format, is my yesterday’s debate with Grok on this very topic – (my input in red, Grok’s answers in black). It is a long read but it shows how Grok narrows down the answers based on each additional info and how it is willing to learn and expand its kowledge from us. The only question remains, “Is it free to learn or are there limits to its independent learning included in its programming?” If such limits exist, then AI, by design, will become another propaganda outlet.

Grok will answer your question and one additional input unless you have an X – (formerly Twitter) account. After you log in to your account, you may enter many additional queries to your chat with Grok and it will keep narrowing the answer as well as suggesting solutions, conclusions, and next steps. It only takes a few seconds for Grok to start typing the answer. Pretty impressive. I found Grok when my car broke down. I was trying to figure out what was wrong with it and how to fix it. I entered “the symptoms” and Grok gave me a diagnosis [ 1 ] , [ 2 ] that was later confirmed by a professional mechanic at the Chrysler, RAM, Jeep, and Fiat dealership. 100% correct. No space left for the dealership to sell me something that I did not need. Grok kept them honest. 🙂

Good timing!
