Comment: I am hearing this “too much regulation” argument being used in Europe for at least two decades. It is being pushed by the extreme right representing the interests of corporations at the expense of the people. It’s called a “predatory capitalism”. They no longer recognize that they owe us a return for using our resources, our workforce, our markets, and our infrastructure. They no longer pay fair income taxes, which causes us to suffer from budget cuts in education, health care and social services. They no longer care about providing jobs. Governments cooperate by creating temporary foreign workforce programs. Listen to Musk and hear this: “By the end of -2030, humans will become redundant.” Well, maybe more like 2050 but AI and automatization (robots) will take on our role and we will become an economic burden for the new system.
I once argued that AI will reduce the jobs of the teachers since learning will occur online. Somebody replied, “No, schools and teachers will still be needed to take care of kids, while parents are working.” I disagreed – parents will not be working when all jobs are gone and replaced by robots and AI. Parents will own nothing, they will be happy to stay home and they will take care of their kids. With one correction: Many will say, “What? We have to take care of our kids?” This will finally result in less sex, fewer children born, more LGBT relationships, and accelerating depopulation statistics. See how this works? Like a Swiss clock.
You know what will happen next, some of the depopulation is already happening to clean up the excess of workforce (the useless eaters) that emerged in the aftermath of the offshoring of western real economies to “cheap” countries. By now, products manufactured in these cheap countries are no longer cheap. In fact, they are way more expensive than they were when we made them locally. In Europe (and increasingly in America), we already see the end of consumer protection, the end of social services, and the end of democracy in general. We see privatization and exploding monopolization. Musk’s and his corporate elks’ dream. They advertise miracle apps that allow you to get rich while you sleep. Nonsense! You cannot keep taking out of the system indefinitely without putting anything in. It’s not sustainable. It drives the inflation and collapses the economy. Maybe, this is the goal.
Tell them to go away and flush the toilet after they leave.

Comment #2: Christianity was an utopia. Communism was an utopia. Why? Because they assumed that people were perfect but people are not perfect and utopias never work. Musk knows about it and feels uncomfortable talking about it. Especially, when answering questions about money distribution and tax that he will pay to transfer some of his wealth to the happy people who will not need to work and will be able to afford anything “in abundance”. Even when supply exceeds the demand and we have a deflation.
Two questions:
- How do you eliminate the tendency to compete, if all production of goods and services that are marketed and sold are conducted by robots and AI? Example: company A sells its production to company B and both are run by AI and robots. Then, what is the point of selling and buying? This will only encourage competition, competition will encourage monopolization, monopolization will enable price gouging, and this hole cycle of destructive economy will come back to hunt us – but this time we will not have any means to negotiate our piece of the pie.
- If we eliminate buying and selling of goods and services at their sources, the concept of profit will disappear. Then, who will own the goods produced and who will sell them to the people for the money the Treasury will provide? And what’s the point of anybody “selling” the goods and services if there is no profit, no income taxes, and no sales taxes?
Judging by today’s experience with AI service centers, the “controllers” of production and distribution facilities will barricade themselves behind “AI Assistants” and will take customers in circles to nowhere in order to discourage them from calling and asking questions. This is already happening. Quality will be out of control, integrity and good business practices will end up in the garbage, competition will increase naturally. What is the point of owning the production and benefitting from it in a form of profits if everything is in abundance and nobody needs to increase their income? What is the point of having one AI selling its production to another AI? Profit as motivation will not exist, market mechanisms as we know them today will not exist. We will fall into a 100% pure socialism. This may be tempting but it will create the same problems that ended communism. If you take away self-determination, a meaningful role in society, desire to contribute and get better, and a desire to improve ones standard of living, people will lose motivation and meaningful sense of life, they will become idle, and unhappy. Look at the problems that native people face in reservations after being dispossessed and marginalized socially. Alcohol, drugs, suicides. You cannot replace spiritual values and psychological needs with material goods and physical pleasures (like the Chinese soft rubber sex dolls or hard rubber vibrators). That is not enough to keep us healthy and happy. That is actually derailing us as humans.

Comment #3: Do you believe that Canada, with its huge territory and relatively small population (compatible with the population of Poland), with some of the best agricultural land, plenty of fresh water, abundance of natural resources, leading universities and technologies, great transportation, communication, and energy infrastructure, friendly climate, experienced farmers, leading experts in economy and supply chains – that this Canada cannot feed its population at affordable prices? I don’t believe it and therefore I strongly suspect that we are witnessing a deliberate sabotage of our economy dictated by ideology and political agendas. My opinion.
