Comment: Yes, there are computer programs that do things for us, as our brains go “Da, da, daaa…”. If we stop exercising, our bodies get weaker. Same thing with the brain, if you don’t use it, you lose it. But, we are already there, even without computers and programs. It’s the convenience of being lazy. There are people for whom material goods, mechanical actions, and physical pleasures are the only values and the only available ability. Those clever enough read about arts and spiritual experiences, so they fake it, they play roles and pose in order to impress their friends that “THEY TOO” are artistic and sensitive to music or poetry or dance, whatever the case may be. But you can immediately sense that their efforts are not natural, that they are artificial and stiff, that they are performers and not creators, that they learn by memorizing, not understanding, that they lack the flow and spiritual depth, that they lack the light. Yet, they go on because they don’t have the ability to see it.
Comment: There is something strange happening here and it is visible in the above video. You need to enlarge the video to full screen and stop it just before the touchdown takes place. Then, advance the video slowly, frame by frame, (using the > and < keys).
In a recent interview, Liberal Party frontrunner Mark Carney admitted that ‘people will charge me with being elitist or a globalist,’ but that such qualities happen ‘to be exactly what we need.’
My question: “We” means who exactly? The elites, the WEF, the globalists? But not “We the People”.
Comment: Liberals are trying to rescue their party, after screwing Canada and Canadians badly and, I believe, deliberately. They are goners and they should be. Carney, Freeland, Trudeau, and the rest of the WEF “penetrants”, including Jagmeet Singh, the leader of the NDP shouldn’t even think of running. This makes my choice simple: Federally, I will vote for Tories.
Provincially though, Tories have screwed us, too, and that’s why they are trying to escape our sword by running an early election (at our cost). Election that we will pay for but we will not benefit from. So, not Liberals, not Tories, and who is left in Ontario? I will probably try the NDP. This is not an endorsement, I am just sharing my preferences. We need a lot of fixing, and fast, in health care, housing, and education. We need a rapid reversal of the unprecedented price gouging and exploading cost of living. NDP are addressing these points in their provincial campaign. I am willing to give them a chance. Don’t see a better option, although they are not cristal clear, either and they will increase our collective debt. But that’s better than starving somewhere under the bridge.
To those who prioritize market and corporate needs, I want to say this: You will not improve the economy unless the money starts flowing. You cannot sell your goods and services or improve your corporate profits, unless people have more money to buy these goods and services and pay for them. So first, you need to create well paying jobs, reverse or freeze all prices (including housing, rent, electricity, food, clothing, medications, gasoline, and other necessities). Then, and only then, you should address the corporate needs but only, if they pay fair taxes, like everybody else. In a rich country people should be rich, not just the “elites” (whatever this means).
Comment: Mr. Poilievre, the problem is not bullets flying into synagogues or schools, the problem is a total destraction of schools, communities, and mosques in Palestine. The problem is deliberate genocide and ethnic cleansing. You should know this, it is going on for decades. Is your memory OK? Or, is it just selective?
“There is a campaign under way to essentially destroy the public education system along with every aspect of human life and attitudes and thought that involve social solidarity. It’s being done in all sorts of ways. One is simply by underfunding. So, if you can make the public schools really rotten, people will look for an alternative. Any service that’s going to be privatized, the first thing you do is make it malfunction so people can say, “We want to get rid of it. It’s not running. Let’s give it to Lockheed.” — Noam Chomsky, The Progressive Magazine, September 1999, p.37
