Here is a different point of view, but not so much different:
(BTW, is Justin reading this blog?)
Comment: I agree with some of the critique of Trump’s style but the basic substance was right. I remember when American investors offshored American real economy (production, services, and technology) to “cheap countries”. Many people in the US lost their jobs, pensions, savings, and even houses but this did not matter. What mattered was that the investors cut their costs and maxed up their profits, Reversing this trend made Trump many influencial enemies, this is exactly why they hate him, why they had tried to stop him from becoming a president of the US. But stealing the resources of Ukraine, Gaza, and eyeing the natural resources in the Arctic Circle (Canada’s and Greenland’s Exclusive Economic Zones) is unacceptable. Please back off , Donald and stop turning your supporters into enemies. If you are really serious about stopping the killing in Ukraine, also go after Israel and stop the genocide in Palestine and Syria. Don’t be a hypocrite.

Comment: Donald, just like Adolf and Joseph before him, is trying to make his country great again. Does the same goal justify the same means? Don’t do this, Mr. President. We can support your goals but we will not support this kind of means. Please, don’t make this mistake. The choice is yours and so is your legacy. There will be nobody else to blame.

Comment: Do you remember the video in which Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum (WEF) bragged about his “penetration” of more than a half of the Canadian cabinet? He talked about Justin Trudeau, Chrystia Freeland, Jagmeet Singh, and other high ranking figures in Canadian politics. Mark Carney was one of them.
I strongly suspect that attempts made by Jagmeet Singh and Chrystia Freeland to disassociate themselves from Justin Trudeau, at the time when his political career took a hit that he could not recover from, was in fact an attempt by Klaus Schwab to rescue his “penetration” team.
What will happen next? Given that Mark Carney comes from the same WEF stable, I don’t expect any changes in Canada’s federal policies. We will see a continuation of leftist and woke ideologies, we will see a further destruction of Canadian economy, health care, education, and social programs – (a further transfer of wealth is already taking place under the tariff war). If you add a continuing push for a war with Russia, this time with the leftist European Union as an ally, the future does not look good.
The good news is that Canadian voters, (if they have a good memory and critical thinking skills), will use the next election to send liberals for a long vacation, where they truly belong after their disasterous nine years in power.
