Comment: I find it impossible to believe that this is not a controlledd demolition of western economies and, consequently, depopulation of western societies. We have to consider at least eight different areas of this assault:
- Ideology: The era of offshoring, New World Order, Great Reset, corruption, and depopulation;
- Resources: Canada, with a relatively small population and huge territory, great abundance of resources, leading sciences, modern transportation and communication, and sophisticated infrastructure, cannot feed its population and protect it from poverty and destruction? Seems impossible but here we are. To me, it looks like a deliberate sabotage;
- Leadership and Labour: Only three decades ago, we had a highly competent leadership and highly motivated workforce. This has changed as a result of dumbing down education reforms and woke ideologies, destruction of labour movement, destruction of health care, “pandemic”, lockdowns and destruction of work ethics, privatization of publicly owned and operated institutions, corruption of leadership, replacement immigration policies, and foreign workers’ programms but also due to corruption and foreign takeover of our political organizations and economic resources;
- Convenient technologies and inventions: Weakening and enslaving of the people – eg., Grammarly, AI, post-humanism tech, electronic financial transactions, and other technologies enabling invigilation, control, and the “If you don’t use it, you lose it” principle;
- Monopolization of markets and lack of consumer protection: Food and housing crisis.
- Destruction of democratic institutions and processes: Elections, media, censorship, and technocracy;
- Impoverishment of population: Offshoring of real economy, increasing army of “useless eaters”, inflation and unprecedented, never ending price gouging;
- Wars and foreign policies: Removed from democratic decision making process and taken over by deep state, foreign interests, and government-corporate cartels.
This process started right after 1991 and the collapse of the Soviet Union. Ideological competition ended, restructuring arrived, and offensive of predatory capitalism began. (“Capitalism with human face was replaced with capitalism in your face” – Michael Parenti). My opinion.
