Comment: Mr. President, this is not about you and your ego. Your reaction is counterproductive. What was a US military helicopter doing in or near Iranian airspace? You are the aggressor in this conflict and Iranians are defending themselves. They are also defending the Palestinians and the Lebanese from Israeli war crimes and genocide. The whole world can see it. Your tantrums are not going to change this perception. They will only make things worse for you. Think of your legacy.

  Comment: Clayton, this is not “international waters”. The Strait of Hormuz, where this incident happened, belongs to Iranian sovereign territorial waters. The right of transit, during a war time, may be limited by Iran for security reasons. And the US military Apache helicopter was not there under the transit of commercial shipment status.
