Comment: My question: “What has caused these geoengineering efforts in the first place?” Incompetence? Desire to pauperize and depopulate the Earth (or certain places on it)? Water transfer? Masking of military objects and tactics? Holes or dangerous thinning of the ozone layer? -or- A decreasing difference between rotational speed of the Earth’s core and its crust that results in wondering and weakening of the Earth’s magnetic field (a dynamo effect), as it happens during full or partial pole reversals? Both, thinner or missing ozone layer and weakened magnetic field would expose us to deadly Sun radiation and cosmic rays, in which case the geoengineering efforts could be seen as a positive initiative, possibly kept secret in order to avoid a massive panic. Incompetence, depopulation, water transfer (stealing), and masking potential military targets would qualify as negative initiatives. As always, the important issue is the price. What is the negative impact of these geoengineering efforts on human health, our environment, and our economy? What is the risks vs. benefits ratio?
