The federal election is underway, and we need your help to force Gaza back into the political conversation and beat the media blackout. Despite Israel renewing its genocidal campaign, the leaders of all Canada’s political parties have been nearly silent.

The Leaders’ Debates will be held on April 16 and 17 in Montreal. We need to ensure that the federal leaders are directly asked about Canada’s complicity in Israel’s ongoing crimes.

It’s time to ask about genocide!

Send an email to the Leaders’ Debates Commission and debate moderators, and insist that they ask the party leaders whether they believe Israel committed genocide and if they will continue to allow Canadian companies to sell weapons to Israel.

The Leaders’ Debates Commission is a public agency created to manage leaders’ debates during federal general elections. It will be hosting two debates in Montreal: one in French on April 16 at 8PM ET, and another in English on April 17, at 7PM ET. Steve Paikin will be moderating the English debate, while Patrice Roy is moderating the French debate.

Comment: I suspect that Trump is playing a double game here. China was most likely going to defend Iran as Iran is a major supplier of energy that runs Chinese economy. Trump threatens China with unprecedented tarrifs, a step that seriously hurts Chinese economy. This threat may then serve as a bargaining chip in buying Chinese neutrality during the American war against Iran. At the same time, Trump “negotiates” with Iran to make an impression that he wants to avoid this war and to make China think that this war may be avoided. Trump also knows that there is a great opposition to this war in the US and among his MAGA supporters. Presenting Iran with unacceptable demands and then accusing it of negotiating in bad faith can be used to “justify” a hot war. Just like the lies about weapons of mass destruction and alleged lack of cooperation with weapons inspectors had once been used to justify the war against Iraq. We have already seen this script. I hope that I am wrong and I hope that China knows they will be next.

Comment: For a few months, I have been commenting in various social media and saying that tarrifs are a continuation of the lockdowns. The goal is to transfer the wealth, to lower the standard of living of the working people and, ultimately, to depopulate the globe and establish one-world, unelected government by the real global elites – the banks and major corporations. I can see it everywhere. Can you?
