Comment: This was my first big question early in 2020. Since I did not see people dropping down all around me, I began to search for all cause mortality data to see how serious this virus really was. I was hoping to compare these numbers with data from previous years, taking into account the rate of population growth and the fact that baby boomers began to reach a dying age. Surprisingly, the Stats Canada website discontinued publishing overall mortality statistics, using a ridiculous excuse. I was able to find this missing data in three other sources and this allowed me to do statistical analysis [ 1 ] , [ 2 ] , [ 3 ] of the first six months of the pandemic here in Canada as well as in Poland. Both of these studies were conducted before the rollout of Covid-19 vaccination campaign and the global competion of the 5G network.
